| Mount Caritas Monastery is situated on 37 acres of primitive woodland. The compound is made up of three buildings
consisting of the Sanctuaty and Chapel, the bakery area which provides guest rooms, as well as our barn for the donkey and goats. The Town of Ashford is a quiet New England
town situated in the Northeast section of Connecticut. For those wishing to avail themselves of quiet time away from the fever of the world, we are able to provide overnight
accommodations, offer meals, and access to our small Chapel. We ask a donation of $35.00 a night, but no one is ever turned away for lack of donation. At present we are unable to offer daily Mass,
but for those with transportation there are parishes close by.
